I understand the need to inform people of what can happen and yes it can even get as bad as it ending in a death, and I can even understand why post this story, and I hope everyone can understand that this all begins so sweet and innocent as a conversation and can end with so many devastating consequences that people need to see how it starts and how, yes, it could end. Marriage in any relationship is not the finish line but knowing everything I know now, it is rather scarey how some of these women make it sound like a fairy tale. Although I do value my privacy If someone has question and if It could help someone myself or my husband dont hesitate to answer, as long as its general info, not a problem. I mean we do have our limits of information we share with the public as all people do.

But I have seen how someone you could be talking to for more tthan a year from this sort of background can turn from sweet to nasty in a matter of minutes and without warning is possible. When I seen it I was shocked. And the sad part was my husband seen it before I did and he did warn me and I never listened. But thank goodness it was just a friendship and nothing more for me, not that even if my husband hadn't been in the picture, would have been anything more. My husband & I try to help couples if we can , but I ca tell you now when we tell 1 part of the couple that the person they are thinking of marrying is not the fairytale they think their getting , they get defensive, angry or they all of a sudden dont want to talk anymore. And as we say they are adult and if they dont want the truth and they want to live in their fantasy land then so be it and they will learn the hard way.

As far as y situation, I did not go into this thinking fairytale, but I also didn't go in with thinking of all the possible road blocks, but we cant know the future unfortunately. I dont defend my relationship, as I never feel the need to, but if someone has questions,we figure maybe it could help someone, I still dont know 100% of everything about my husbands culture, I think you really have to live it to know it. I'm constantly asking him questions and it does give you a shock to the system when you visit there and I could never imagine living there. I wish I had all the time to tell these women so many things, and alot of the things these men do and the mentality they have when it comes to women is astounding! I was so repulsed by some of the things my husband told me about even some of his own relatives and friends. A

s he puts it "they have bad thinking". I have noticed on here that when some ask for advice and you give it to them they get very defensive, which I don't understand, if they dont like the answers and they are expecting a "green light" to move forward, I would say in most situations they are not going to find that. And for anyone who might be curious as to what I a doing on this sight, I was online one evening googled soething total opposite of what this forum is offering and it was in the top few seaches and I became very intrigued by the topic and was hoping maybe I could offer some advice or answer questions if anyone had. This is actually the first question that pops into my mind everytime I read the post where someone ask something , they obviously don't like the response, get defensive and hen I always think, if you have such a perfect and loving relationship, why are you here with questions? The best piece of advice and I think you all know this in your hearts really, If you have doubts or fears , listen to them, obviously your head is telling you theres a problem, its ok to ask questions and find information, but if you still have that nagging feeling something is just to good to be true , thats your instincts telling you theres a problem, LISTEN TO IT! And S_T_LUIGI I always look forward to reading your posts.
