Thank you Isis, Keep the comments coming...maybe I just need a knock in the head...please read my comments below...

Have you actually met this man and his family in person? I understand this to be an internet relationship so how can they love and accept you you unconditionally without even knowing you personally or having met you in person.? You are reading into their communication with you and they are telling you exactly what you want to hear.

I have met Hussein in Lebanon on 3 different occassions...one of those occassions his mom came for a couple of days to meet me. We had a wonderful time and she keeps asking to this day when we will marry., that we are both very lucky to find such great love. I have not met his sisters in person.

Have you considered improving his life and that of his family. You are being set up for a scam and you will be paying for all the travelling and accommodation etc etc that you are currently discussing. Did you ever stop to think WHY he can't get a visa to a western or European country?

He gets temporary visas when he travels to lebanon and he has an uncle in Germany that he has gotten a temporary visa. he said he has no need to get visa and if we should marry one day, he said the process would be much easier, but it really has not been an issue for now. He would like to visit the states...but has not pressed the issue. It is easier for me to travel to Lebanon and he can travel there too without any difficulty.

Next you will write that his Mum is ill and needs money for an operation or that he needs money to pay fines and to stay out of prison amongst other things. You have been caught hook line & sinker!

I'm amazed that you are still going on with this relationship (??) as I would have thought that sense would have prevailed by now.

He has never asked me for anything nor has he asked about my personal wealth or anything too private. We enjoy talking to each other and have some very intellectual conversations. he is very interested in Christian religion and asks many questions. Said that he thinks christianity is a beautiful religion and makes more sense to him than his own. He admits that there are many stupid laws in his religion and says his family does not practice them. He just sounds like a normal guy. Actually, too good to be true at times. But I would think is 2 years and 4 months that one of the warning signs would have surfaced, but it hasn't...he has even warned me to be leary of any man that tries to talk to me that they are just after one thing...but he has never demanded that I only see him *which I do!

thank you for you comments, i am still searching for something that just doesn't seem right.
