You going anywhere has no effect on if he will get a visa or not. If he actually told you this he has another agenda in mind. Heres why most go to Tunisia, its easier to visit & marry there, no wait time. In most of the other countries there is mounds of paper work and even sometimes a requirement that you are in the country "x"amount of week or months before u marry. No visa required to visit Tunisia, and a most important fact if you have not visited them before, going to Tunisia , they can avoid introducing you to their Family and you dont see where they live and how they really are.
