Hi anon. I want to commend you on your informative message. Think of the thousands of dollars it would cost to bring over a mid-eastern bf to the US or Canada. I can't even imagine. When you have mentioned the lawyers fees added onto everything else. I had never thought that far myself. There is so much a common person does not know about traveling abroad and obtaining visas, etc.

Recently, I met my online bf's, sister. I was quite surprised that she is studying to be an attorney. I asked her where she intended to practice, and she happened to say the state in which I live. That surprised me even more, considering, I had never met her, didnt know she existed and no such subject had been approached that his family would be coming to the place where I live. It is possible coincidence, but there are many other states with the same programs. Tho the way she said it made me think otherwise this was not mere coincidence. Also, I realize that I would be expected to pay for her living expenses until she could get a job here in this country. I can barely pay for my own, let alone someone elses!

At times, I think we westerners are so naive about the greater parts of the world in which we live. Americans believe everyone are like them, wanting to help, and be helped in return. Never realizing~that we sometimes cause the problems of our influential society here in the USA. And people look to us as the golden goose who lays the golden eggs. Not so! Many of us struggle in our daily lives as well. Finding a job, being able to put food on the table for your family. Keeping a roof over our heads~some not even that. These days no matter where you live, its tough. And some of us Americans hang in there hoping it will get better, at some point.

All in all, your information has opened my eyes even more! And I appreciate this so much! Thank you...Guest Reader
