Danniah ~ that is sad that you lost someone that meant a lot to you. All because of a small untruth that he would not forgive. Its a good thing you were not in Algeria or one of those Arabic countries.. because then you would have had no way to get home. Thank God for small favors, and being in the USA where Freedom is valued.
