Don't Beat Yourself Up for a Mistake

To all the women that have fallen victim to a man that has taken advantage of them. Please believe me when I tell you there are many men out there, in the US and abroad that are looking to serve their own purpose. Trying to find someone sincere that cares about you is not a bad thing and you should not blame yourself for the mans bad behavior. I have "been there, done that" and am all the wiser for it now. These men and even some women in society are professional con artist that prey on your weakest moments. Please put the blame where it belongs which is squarely on them for being heartless individuals that try to get ahead using another's misfortune or caring nature, using "trust" and promises of love to keep you hooked.

Best of luck and by no means are you an "Old Fool". Learn from this experience and take back your pride and control by never letting someone take advantage of you again in this way. I had something similar happen and when he contacted me again I firmly told him off and found I felt 100% better knowing I was again in control of my life and emotions. I hope you take comfort in knowing you are not the only "victim" out there and don't blame yourself further.
