Homosexuality is certainly NOT legal in Egypt so I don't know where you got that impression. Good male friends will hold hands and link arms when they are out in the streets and this is common all over the mid east and is part of the culture and does not mean that they are homosexual at all. Women will also link arms but that does not mean that they are homosexual either.

As the the love making - the men are starved for female affection from the age of 8 years when the young boys are handed over to the fathers for the rest of their upbringing. No woman touches a male until they are married so therefore they never learn how to treat a woman. Their only companions until they marry are men so I am sure that you can understand why the love making was not to your satisfaction. His upbringing would have also led him to treat you as a prostitute because sex before before marriage is illegal in Egypt and women who agree to sex before marriage are considered Shermutas (prostitutes).

I am not defending Egyptian men just clarifying points for you.
