I think there is a lot of shades of gray on here. Just because I respond to a post or ask why someone is on here doesn't mean I think their relationship is headed for a visa scam. It's just a well-established pattern and fact that an on-line relationship defense is never a good sign. It could be because of the relationship itself or it may have more to do with internal issues of the author.

I can't really sum up "their way" because I take things on a case-by case basis. Isis doesn't discuss nor defend her relationship, she is only sharing information with me on this thread presumably so I can better understand her perspective.

There are numerous cases on here where individuals have felt the need to defend their relationship or gain some kind of approval for it from total strangers on other landmasses.

That is a red flag warning and clearly shows me there is insecurity and a lack of trust and/or understanding in the relationship.
