It sounds like you have the right approach here. The main issue is that you don't seem to swept off your feet to the point of where the truth is getting distorted and from what you've said, you have a realistic view of the situation. And yes, 3 years is not that long and it's good that you are comfortable with the pace. A lot of women who have posted on here in the last six years feel a sense of urgency and that they are being rushed.
