To Anna---The thinking of Cheats, Liars and Scammers

Hi Anna

I'm sorry that you find yourself in this situation and I'm sure it's very frustrating and hurtful.

After reading your posts, it sounds like you are heading in the right direction, but I want to answer one key question you posed:

Why does he deny it?

Simply put, he'll deny it because he thinks that eventually, he can wear you down. Now, that might sound strange to you as you are preparing to get out of this, but scammers, cheats and liars will do this because it can and does work.

I think the reason why he was confident and seemingly careless about fooling around is that he thought he would get away with it, because you are already married and emotionally invested in the relationship. That's usually when their true colors come unhidden.

I can understand why you wouldn't just want to end a marriage on a whim, but I sincerely doubt you can reform him.

In fact, he may have thought about doing this even before you got married.

Just don't by into his denials or his crying or pleas. If you go to Morocco, he'll have more control over what you do, as the laws and customs are much more favorable to males, and he won't have much incentive at all to stop this behavior, because if you forget about it and stay with him, you're basically giving him permission to do it again.
