My child...?

My husband wants me to go to the embassy to register our marriage and our child which is a baby. I'm wondering why is that? And each time i ask him he doesnt reply to me or ignore my question. I know he previously mentioned that in case of divorce he's taking the child and i know my child will go visit his country at least once a year but why all of this? Why am i forced to do this?

It scares me to do something without knowing why i'm doing it. And i got my child involved i wanna make sure anything of that will turn out against me.

Does anyone knows why all of that?
