hello, a late answer. i never ended up in marriage, and happy for it, it would have been like you describe fully. i recognize everything and indeed what is such a marriage, then divorce is maybe better. I do not say that all arab men are worse than westerners, but the ways and methods are different and you indeed found a negative arab man. for me the boredom would have been worst, mr. always out and about and the ladies in the house... the streets are dominated by men indeed. and indeed they can make you feel worthless, which the one i met started doing after he noticed i would not give him entrance to europe...

a decent intercultural marriage means giving and taking from both sides, and a lot of communication, open and honest. i do not want to meddle in your decisions, but for me the choice in your situation would be divorce or becoming more and more depressive. whatever you decide, i wish you the best, kind greetings from me (lady)
