Moroccan teller of tall tales and lies

I just got dumped by a Moroccan man whom I had met while working at Disney. We had an instant connection and a very strong attachment. He constantly pursued me, although I was very upfront with him about some personal issues that I had. He was very assuring to me, and when I had to move away, he continued the long-distance relationship through texts, long phone calls, facebook, etc. He and I would make plans to marry sometime down the road... I would research what it would take in order to keep him here in the US. In every way, I had let my walls down in order to give him the benefit of the doubt, as he seemed very sincere. I felt like I had fallen head over heels for him, although I was aware that we would be facing some challenges.

Little did I realize that he had another girl back at Disney, that he was telling her all of the things that he told me, and that she had also fallen for this two-faced teller of tales. And when I confronted him, he didn't hesitate to put me down, coldly pointing out the obstacles between us, and to reiterate that he hadn't LIED to me... that I must have misunderstood his intentions. At the time, I was livid and humiliated. Now, I can see that I have doged a HUGE bullet for the future... I would not have liked to be married to a man whom I would never be able to trust. Clearly, this was a man full of his own ego, and he didn't care who would get hurt in his pursuit for an American wife. I believe others have fallen for his lies as well, because if he is so manipulative once... then I don't see how he should ever stop, I wish he would go back to Morocco, stay there, and leave us American ladies alone. I was angry at him for a while, but now I just wish that people like him would just go away and stop polluting this world with hurt and lies. There seems to be many, many Moroccan men just like him, so I would have to say to other women to beware! There are too many women who have had similar experiences for not to be taken so casually.
