Hi Amy

Look, I've got to be honest with you on this one: I don't like the situation you are in AT ALL. I think you are going to have your heart broken all over again.

I do appreciate the feedback, and to your credit you have been very open-minded, and I'm sure all the posters do as well, but its pretty rare for all of us to agree, and I think that does mean something.

Amy, the reality is you cannot get to know someone over the internet or by a few visits out of the year. There is only so much that can and will be communicated to you and it's very easy to deceive. That's why it's so appealing to scamming men. The on-line relationships that do turn out good are often the result of extensive effort and/or sheer luck and those tend to be meeting someone on-line in your local area as opposed to across an ocean or two.

I want you to feel free to come back. You won't find me being judgemental or waving "I told you so" flags around, and I doubt that other readers will say the same. Most of have been down this dark tunnel before, and from reading what some of the others have said, it's hard to imagine this working out.
