Re ID card and marital status / the man's friends

Regarding the turkish identity card, if it says he's single, this is meaningless. Don't go by this. A man can be married and not change his card if he's looking to play. The police really don't care - this is a minor offense. I know - i tried to report my husband having a card that he didn't change from single to married and the police didn't care. He could easily be engaged to marry and you wouldn't know. he might have snapped at you because of a marriage being arranged for him and he didn't want to admit this. One never knows over there.

As for his friends making your friend look good, men in these cultures stick together like you wouldn't believe - it's one big men's club there - so of course they'll make their friend look good if they know he wants to play with you.
