You have to go back to the time before the Ottoman empire, before Saladin and the Islamic Crusades that conquered and occupied land belonging to thousands of other cultures from Asia to Africa to Europe, and before Muhammad began his jihad against Christians and Jews when they rejected his new religion.

Real peace in the Middle East began with the statehood of Israel because only in the state of Israel can Muslims, Christians, and Jews all live in peace. Muslims who live in the state of Israel have the highest standard of living and the greatest number of freedoms of any Muslim country.

In 1948, Muslims were invited to remain and live in Israe -- they were not all forced to flee as you were led to beleive. The evidence is there, right in Israel: there were hundreds of thousands of Arabs who chose either to stay, or to return and become citizens after the end of the war.

Meanwhile, no Jew is permitted to enter Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Libya, Iran, or any other Middle Eastern country, let alone live there. Over 800,000 Jews were expelled from these countries in 1948, and they were totally absorbed by Israel. Whereas, these same countries refused to accept any Palestinian refugees because they wanted them to remain refugees as a ploticial tool against Israel..

No, the US is not to blame for the plight of the Palestinian Arabs -- it is their fellow Arabs who are to blame for continually trying to destroy Israel instead of accepting their right to exist in the land stolen from them by the Romans more than 600 years before Muhammad was ever born.

Until the Arab world accepts that reality, they will never know peace. Until the Muslim world ends its imperialistic quest to change the entire world into an Islamic Caliphate, there will be not be peace anywhere on the globe.
