Isreal is a Pawn

Reader comment on item: Israel Shuns Victory

Submitted by William Sumner Scott (United States), Mar 28, 2006 at 09:28

Mr. Pipes is on target again. There is no desire to win this war.

The Israeli's had the desire to fight taken out of them by the Romans and the Christians and the Islamists. Israelis still wear Roman beanies and put Roman identification at their doors.
Without a will to fight, there can be no will to win.

And the United States has helped create the current potential crises. It has put a peace plan on the table that is not in the best interests of the Jews. The US agenda is to get the American people motivated to win the war against all Muslims. The US war is about oil, competition with the Eurodollar, and religion.

The Jews should focus on winning their war over the land the UN give them.

The Israeli pull out of the West Bank now makes it possible for the Palestinians to send rockets into the Israeli Ashkelon Electric Power Plant that supplies power to 1/3 of Israel.

It appears the Israeli leadership/voters plan is to put Israel in such a weak position that the US must intervene to win the war for them.
