Palestinians refusing to destroy poultry infected with bird flu

There is an issue of international proportions that isn't getting discussed. There was a brief note buried in an article about the recent suicide bombing of a car full of Jewish settlers near Kedumim (http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewForeignBureaus.asp?Page=%5CForeignBureaus%5Carchive%5C200603%5CFOR20060331d.html ) This article said Palestinians were refusing to kill their poultry infected with bird flu because they were afraid they wouldn't be compensated. There is an international effort going on to curb the spread of bird flu out of fear it may begin infecting humans and precipitate a world-wide pandemic such as happened in 1919. Why do the Palestinians get off the hook? Why aren't countries alarmed?

And while on the subject, the world is drowning in the B.S. coming out of the Hamas government. Examples:

1. Western reluctance to provide $100 million a year in financial aid to Hamas government which will not disown terrorism is called a 'boycott."

2. The suicide attack on the settlers was justified because "unilateral withdrawal is a direct encouragement" to terrorists.
