Israel - Protected in Victory or Defeat

Reader comment on item: Israel Shuns Victory

Hello Mr Pipes,

In your observation of what apparently your expectation of Israel's next move should be, from the March 28th insight to the April 4th follow-up, the reader is given much to believe that for Israel to maintain a reasonable existence in its current location and condition, all they need to do is to fight and win against the "Palestinians." All the rest of Israel's antagonists will fall into place and assume some sort of cognitive acceptance of the state of things, for the moment. Were it only just so.

But, not only not so, but the "Palestinians" are not the only problem. In fact, even though the "Palestinians" are the poster children for the woes of the Middle East, they are only a handful of sand in the desert of the Arabian/Muslim discontent. The simmering of such discontent is now manifest all across the region (Iran, Jordan, Syria, etc.) and the most of the rest of the world, and anyone who calls out to the deity of the Kabaa or are of aligned thinking are called upon to move against the perception that Israel prevents Islam from performing its duties to the third most holy location, (even though Jerusalem is not specifically designated as such in their holy book).

What is not promulgated in most secular observations is the truly holy nature of the cause for Jerusalem, for it is the center of all the controversy. If Israel is to win at the secular level, it must not win the war alone, but capture and win the hearts of all concerned, to the complete exclusion of all malevolence toward her. Alas, look around and see, such is not the case, but clearly those who would cherish a peaceful Jerusalem in Jewish hands are definitely in the minority.

The immediate neighbors, and some not so immediate, would offer a token absorption of the Jewish population into a greater Middle Eastern Islamic State which would replace Israel, thereby eliminating any Biblically based claim the Jews might have to the land. After that, the word pogrom comes to mind, after which, all sorts of speculations come into view.

However, as was mentioned before, to confine the proceedings to the defining of the State of Israel versus the abolition of the State of Israel is to defy the fact that Israel exists in complete opposition to the darker mentality of the global mindset for a greater purpose. As a national entity, the people of Israel have been in a process of national renewal unlike any nation before, or ever will be. And the primary, really the only way, is to struggle against the natural instincts and look at the past and future history of Israel for the outcome of her trials. It is seen as a supernatural battle.

Israel exists because her Almighty Sovereign has said she will, for His purposes and His glory. It is speculated here that many have tried and fallen in their attempts to tame this most mysterious land and purge her people, and their legacy that remains is that they have all failed.

Yet to be seen is the execution of the final declaration regarding Israel, a decree already written to fulfill the final solution of Israel's destiny. All who recognize Israel's right to exist will finally see that despite all efforts to the contrary, they were right to believe it was so. Those who do not, will realize eventually that Israel does, in fact, not only have that right, but it is protected by the power of the Name of Him Who gave them that right. Such is the State of Israel.
