a parallel between Israeli avoidance and American blindness

Reader comment on item: Israel Shuns Victory

This is a pivotal article: again Daniel Pipes presents the conflict that paralyzes Israel.

It is interesting to notice the parallel between the American blidness to Arab motives inside and outside the Middle East, and Israeli apathy regarding fighting back the Arabs all the way, once and for all.

History has repeatedly illustrated that Arabs understand force only and that diplomacy is only a game that they use to win time, as they plot more destruction. It is unwise to use reason with an enemy that does not use reason, an enemy that strikes first and "reasons" later. This malaise that affects both Israel and the U.S. may indeed eliminate Israel and set back the U.S. in its role as the stongest nation in the world...

Israel needs Uzi Landau; how could he win a parliamentary seat and how can we help from the U.S., an equally apathetic government when it comes to recognizing the Arab world for what it is, Islam "uber alles" ? (sorry about the lack of diacritical marks above the u).
