Pipes' broken crystal ballReader comment on item: Israel Shuns Victory Submitted by Andrew (Canada), Mar 29, 2006 at 00:32 Earlier this year Prof. Pipes predicted that Kadima would prove to be a flash in the pan and that the mould of Israeli politics would return to normal by the election with Likud as the dominant party. Instead we have Likud reduced to *fifth place*. Only goes to show you that Pipes' propensity for wishful thinking overwhelms his ability for accurate and prescient analysis.I'm waiting for Pipes to admit that he was wrong in his earlier prediction. I expect to be waiting a long time. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: I already addressed this at http://www.danielpipes.org/article/3253.Comment on this item
