Defending Sharansky

Reader comment on item: Israel Shuns Victory

Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Mar 28, 2006 at 11:51

I have one bone of contention with Mr. Pipes. What Natan Sharansky, well to my understanding, wants is simply this: the ground be prepared so that the best of the west has level ground to advance.

As long as the potential for what Abdul Rahman went through is not isolated to Afghanistan, this has to be given a very high priority in developing the path to take us where we are to where we want to be.

Until the maximalist tendencies of Islam are checked, we have to seriously consider placing those lands which are having a negative effect on global geopolitics under this: a regency.
