Likud! Likud!

Daniel,

Thank you very much for this article. I am not a citizen of Israel and cannot vote, but I have turned in my thoughts toward Likud. I have turned against Ehud Olmert and Kadima for one simple reason: Israel must never declare its borders final until every substantive vestige of Palestinian will to destroy Israel has itself been destroyed. As long as the Palestinians want to destroy Israel, they must always have the potentiality of additional loss.

All that Olmert would accomplish by declaring Israel's borders "final" is give Palestinians guaranteed borders; it will not guarantee Israel's. For 58 years while Jews has built a nation great in many ways, the Palestinians have continuously acquired and accomplished more and more of less and less. Let them keep up the good work.
