america partly to blame.Reader comment on item: Israel Shuns Victory Submitted by ahmad zafire (United States), Mar 30, 2006 at 20:26 its a shame that this issue has been going on for almost 60 years. when the usa funded israel to become a state. when before then everybody lived in peace dispite their differences. both consider jerusalem the holy land and when israel put up the wall it stop a lot of palestinians from worshipping on the very land that belong to them too. their homes and everything they had was taken away. then years later the US talk israel into clearing out the west bank. so what happen 60 years ago happen again but to israelis. the sad thing about it was a statement from a elder palestianian man was that he felt bad for the jews being kicked out their homes but it once happened to him. it was like revisting the past but on the other side...Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
