Hi Nice Girl. I just read this article/comments here or found this site today as I have been bothered with my phantom-like Egyptian boyfriend. And what you have written here were all true and happening to me. OMG. I am almost 3 years late discovering this page. I would saved my tears and heartaches if I had seen this long time ago. And he is my 3rd Egyptian boyfriend. Apparently, I never learned. I don't know why but ever since I lived in Dubai, I have been attracted to Egyptian men only. The first Egyptian man was kind-hearted but I ended our relationship after suffering from too much possessiveness and jealousy. The 2nd Egyptian man was really a phantom or a ghost. He will only show up if he needs something from me. And if I question him why keeps on disappearing, he will twist my mind by turning the table of the argument. And this 3rd Egyptian came into my life unexpected. I swore before not to fall for them again but I failed. Didn't realised sooner that I was falling in love with him, and head over heals. We had a very romantic love story until one day he started to act cold. For few days, I chose not to discuss it with him. I decided to talk to him about it after my birthday. When I confronted him about his sudden change, he said all those sweet words you mentioned, "I love you so much, I am scared of losing you so I tried to keep a distance because I cannot survive another heartbreak, I miss you so much, I cannot love another woman the way I do with you" blah blah blah. But the very reason I did not buy all of it is that it does not make sense. If you love someone, you wouldn't turn cold on him/her. You will fight for that relationship. All these Egyptian men are really good in one place, and one place only - SALES! They can grow business very well but never a HOME!.
