I do share some of your opinions about Jesus especially about the historical Jesus. However,i think it is safe for us not to conclusively claim he did not exist only for us to be embarrased by the discovery of his existence;the fact that we still cannot find the historical Jesus is not enough evidence that he did not exist.

Concerning weather he had a political agenda and was a violent man,who can conclusively proof? It is absolutely debatable.Traces of violence is not enough evidence of him being violent especially when hundreds of verses and the life of the man from the same Bible clearly show that he preached peace and love.Which is easier to proof-that he was a man of violence or a man of peace?.The later ofcourse!

I do believe that Jesus,if he existed, was a man like all of us and not a devine being or an angel or a god.I also believe that the Bible is a man-made book. However, there is no evidence that believing in the tachings of Jesus will hurt anybody, but there is a world of evidence that believing in the teachings of mohammed is dangerous to humanity and something must be done about it.

Thanks.

Atim.
