Mohammed Saleem Akhtar wrote that wahabis use two lines from a 10,000 page book to push their violent agenda. He also wrote that the violent ayas were sent during war time. Akhtar is off on both counts.

Violence is preached in almost all of 27 Madina suras which happen to be the largest suras. Besides, Mohammed was raiding continuosly in his Madina period. He made over 75 raids basically to gain booty and captured women. Mohammed earned his living by raiding looting, robbing and pillaging, that was his profession in Madina. What does Akhtar means by war time?
Can Mr Akhtar show a reference that he earned his living by any other way in Madina?

His famous hadith is:
Bukhari:V4B52N220 "Allah's Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror.'"

Above hadith is supported by several quranic ayas:

Qur'an 8:12 "I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and His Apostle."

Qur'an 8:57 "If you gain mastery over them , inflict such a defeat as would terrorize them, so that they would learn a lesson and be warned."

Qur'an 8:67 "It is not fitting for any prophet to have prisoners until he has made a great slaughtered in the land."

And sira:
Ishaq:326 "If you come upon them, deal so forcibly as to terrify those who would follow, that they may be warned. Make a severe example of them by terrorizing Allah's enemies."

Why is then Mr Akhtar blaming wahabis for terrorizing the world. They are just following quran and sunna and the footsteps of later Jihadis who terrorized the civilized world from from Spain to India .
