In the name of allahmost gracious most merciful.

Their was a story of prophet muhammad (S.A.W.) that when his grandfather died (pagan fyi) that muhammad wept for him.

Even messengers of god do not know who allah will guide to islam and who he will lead astray but that did not stop muhammad from spreading the message. If we are supposed to act and think like muhammad then we to are prophets though not literally.It is our job to enforce justice to spread truth to those who listen and to be the best of examples.

(quran 6:125) Whomsoever allah guides non can misguide and whomsoever allah misguides non can guide.

It is not the place of men to enforce modes of thought ie religion nationalism etc etc on others. They should come of their own desire to that which they are guided to. I would hope that whatever they are guided to is the best of examples, both in how they speak and how they act. It is by that righteous example that should lead men to their proper destiny.
