Reader comment on item: Bush Declares War on Radical Islam

Asalaamu Alaykum (peace be upon you)
First and foremost, Islam is the greatest religion. If Islam was a 'militant cult' why is Islam derived from the word 'salaam' (meaning peace). The Qur'an, bible and Torah are repeatedly mentionned in the Qur'an, furthermore the Qur'an had the similar meaning to both holy books, (according to the Qur'an) however over a period of time, the tor'ah and bible was changed by so called 'saints' and 'the son of God'. It was Islam that introduced the chronology of democracy (this is a fact), if Islam preaches hate then why the democracy? In Qur'anic verse's it states the future of this Duniyah (world); the Qur'an says the ending of this world will begin with numerous natural disaster (which is already happenning). The Qur'an also mentions Tafsir (science), how can it be that mordern-day scientists and biologists have confirmed that al the Qur'an says on science is true (FACT). So if Islam has contributed so much to the society (as a whole) how can Islam be a 'militant cult' on the contrary it is a peace-loving religion which has helped mordernise society.
(This is straying of the topic, but I think that it might intrigue you).
In the Qur'an it also mentions the 'Jaal' , a creature of some sort who will enter this world with extreme power (given to him by God) and he will say to the Kufar (non-believers) that he is God, then YOU (Kufar) will deny existance of Allah, YOU will deny Allah His due worship. Then YOU would have sealed your fate, not Allah YOU.

This is just a jist of what Qur'an tries to express to those who read it. I can't tell you information like this, you have to make the effort in buying a transaltion of the Qur'an, then you will why it is the fastest growing-religion, and why it is above all else.
