Dear Dr Pipes: Every 30 or so seconds, Quran repeats that Allah is very merciful but I recently stumbled upon Quran chapter 4 verse 56. This verse shows Allah's confession about his brutal mercilessness. I will quote a translation of this verse verbatim:

"Surely those who reject Our signs, We will cast them into the Fire. Whenever their skin is burnt completely, We will replace it so they will constantly taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is Almighty, All-Wise."

May God save us from Allah's fury. In this verse you will be killed by Allah if you reject his signs. You do not even have to be an infidel!

I am wondering if this kind of verses motivate Islamic killers from Israel to Kashmir and the world over.

On a humorous and positive note, if you are a skin graft specialist MD or nurse, based on Q4-56, the all-wise Allah may have several job openings for you.
