Analytics of Human Nature in Contrasts of Beliefs

in response to reader comment: Prashant: Nassim Nicholas Taleb's "Minority Rule"!

While admitting to ignorance of the works of Taleb's impressive explorations into statistics and probabilities, and the vulnerabilities of the human nature to be susceptible to such influences that cannot be described in normal social terms, this was indeed enlightening. Still, it is this observer's view that a deeper issue is at the core of an increasing of that same susceptibility that undergirds Islam's intrigue in certain areas and in the minds of those who are found to be supporters of its precepts when sufficient evidence shows its weaknesses. If it cannot be sufficiently defined (transliteration vs translation), then does the 'black swan' analogy become useful in the words that defy understanding (understanding dark sentences)?
