Learning Islam is rejecting its rigidness

Reader comment on item: A Saudi Prince's Threat to the Obama Administration
in response to reader comment: Muslims should be encouraged to be flexible

Dear Prashant,

You're welcome, and I thank you for supporting mine since I would experience the same rejection if I spoke up my reflexions that come from very intense and inner debates after studying very closely this religion and living with one follower who supposedly wasn't strict on his religion (only apparently!) but almost killed my spirit, and what made me be myself.

Imagine my lack of self-righteousness that I kept studying and keep studying today, just in case I was wrong or missed out on something. But the more I study, the more I know that I will never understand the values that Islam encourages, and the more convinced I am in regards to mine. If you can read, eyes cannot lie. If you have a heart, this one cannot fail.

I wish our messages reached many other Muslims as a starter point to free themselves from this very tight cage.
