My father ever told me when I was very young that my father was migrated to Singapore from Malaysia. In the past, Singapore was once called to be Singapura instead of SIMHA PURA. You have indeed mislead many readers of this site since Singapura in the past was indeed dominated by Malay. Singapore became independent since 9th August 1965.
