Dear Dr Pipes, I recently pointed out that Islam/Muslims must be flexible and not stubborn. The reader AVCR showed her support to my view. I thank her for that. When you object to positions taken by 1.2 Billion people, every bit of support that you can get is valuable. We are all thankful to each other for the information and nutual support that we bring to this forum.

Lately, I have read some interviews of people who have left Islam. In most of these interviews the interviewees said that they left Islam because they were tired of the rigidity of Islam. I think to invite Muslims out of Islam, non-Muslims must focus on this fundamental weekness of Islam. No human likes to live under arbitrary rigidity. Living with freedom and responsibility h
Is the most honorable thing for humans and Islam offers neither freedom nor responsibility.
