War with Saudi Arabia

Reader comment on item: A Saudi Prince's Threat to the Obama Administration

Submitted by Jojn Doe (United States), Feb 19, 2009 at 13:30

Why not invade Saudi Arabia, primarily to take over their oil reserve. OPEC has been manipulating oil prices by curtailing supplies for decades. It is time impose our military might and it is in our economic interest. Besides, there is growing evidence of their (at least financial) involvement in terrorism around the world. Cheap oil will bring economies of the world back on track. There is no reason oil should be this expensive, we are being robbed day in day out because we have been conditioned to believe that oil is very limited resource and that high gasoline prices are justified.
