Polytheistic religion!

in response to reader comment: A Very Concerned Reader : How does the Qur'an define who is a "God"?

As usual, I will be tuned and eager to read your posts! Surat al-Ahzab: 40 was an eye-opener for me because of what I mentioned in previous posts. The way in which the author of the Qu'ran seals this religion is far from being humble. It is pompous and pretentious. As I said, and this is only my opinion, Muhammad didn't want that anyone would come and step over his sacred and holy persona and deprive him of his privileged position once he passed away.

It is funny how much they criticise polytheistic religions, especially Hinduism (I don't need to tell you how much Pakistanis criticise and make fun of this fact) when all religions, both in origin and nature, were polytheistic. Indeed, too many controversies can be noticed in the Qu'ran about this, as you have very well described. The ayah related to Jesus' birth is irrefutable proof of how much an actual meaning can be altered for the sake of their convenience. I feel like scholars have spent their lives covering these book's errors in order to keep this religion alive.

Thank you for another great post!
