Reader comment on item: Uncovering Early Islam
in response to reader comment: What a disaster Islam is the religion of the Arabs only

Submitted by Adil (United States), Oct 10, 2014 at 22:51

I will answer your question with a question of my own. Why is it that Ibrahim, Musa, Harun, Zakriyya, Yahya, and Isa Ibn Maryam are not Arab. Ibrahim is from mestepotamia. Mestepotamians are not Arabs. Musa and Harun are from ancient Egypt. Egyptians did not speak Arabic. Zakariyya, Yahya, and Isa Ibn Maryam are from ancient Al-Quds (Jerusalem). The people at that time did not speak Arabic. Why do you say. Allah told me to believe in all the Messengers and Prophets. Why should I disobey him? Islam must be the religion for everyone. Allah never said that Islam is the religion of Arabs only.

I have never heard of this Quthm Bin Abd Allah. He was never mentioned in the bible, however, I have heard that of a man named Ahmad in the bible. Allah says to Musa in the Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18:

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."

He was talking about Muhammad because Muhammad had a father. Isa however has no father.

Allah decided not to be too specific, lest people make excuses and loose Islam. I can be your friend, but I have to be careful that you do not take me away from Islam. I can deal with you in day to day matters and I can do other things with as long as you do not work against my religion. If you tolerate it and and do not harm Muslims, then I can be f your friend.
