Our dear Adil must be reading a different Qur'an because he wrote

Quran said: "And we have not sent you (Muhammad) except as a mercy to mankind."

The Qur'an does not say that and you are and must pardon me ignorant

Hint you will not find the name of Muhammad in the above verse and this is what I told our dear ayat your avatar

Well let us read it in Arabic

وما ارسلنك الا رحمة للعلمين

Tsk...tsk...tsk... let me fix this poor Arabic

وما ارسلناك الا رحمة للعالمين

And here is the translation

1. وما means and not

2. ارسلناك means we sent you

3. الا means except

4. رحمة your Arab masters tell us that this word means Mercy but the real meaning of the word is really Love

5. للعالمين your Arab masters tell us that this word means the worlds (as per al-Tabari in Surat al-Fatiha the world of human beings and the world of al-Jinn! and did you ever meet a Jinny our dear Adil I mean Ayat?) well the real meaning of this word is Forever

So if we are to believe your Arab masters then the aya is saying

And we did not send you except as mercy for the worlds

And the real meaning is

And we did not send you except as (symbol) for loving for ever

Hint the subject here must be Jesus

Muhammad? he was an Arabian warlord and caravan raider

Why do you make a fool of yourself tell me
