Helping our dear L Foster!

Reader comment on item: Uncovering Early Islam
in response to reader comment: Who is this person?

Did you do a google search our dear L Foster al-tablighee? Let me guess you did not ... right? Why the delusions?

I have seen commentary on this book and claims (by the commentators) that it is "extensively researched" and that Emmet Scott is an "historian," but I can find no information on him. What is his country of origin, his educational background, his qualifications in the field? With no information on the author, one can hardly be expected to take his assertions seriously.

Here is the book in question http://www.amazon.com/Mohammed-Charlemagne-Revisited-History-Controversy/dp/0578094185/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1341663439&sr=1-1-spell&keywords=emett+scott
