in response to reader comment: I don't want your future.

OK, I have to respond - if only to make you aware how badly you have got things wrong.

GIK: " I don't have to invent 'infinities'. Your reality , the one you live in and judge and criticise and object to and fight against , in a very basic way is the invention of your own mind. Just pretend for a second that everything you know is 'wrong' - and the world you see is not the one that exists. And everything you think you know - just exists in your head alone."

Ianus: " At last you have stated bluntly and unambiguously what you having been struggling so long to say with euphemisms and circumlocutions. "

I haven't been struggling to say that at all - it is an obvious point but invariably overlooked by those heavily involved in their ideologies - and so far you did not seem to get what I was meaning.

"I am a working class man quite down in the social hierarchy "

Maybe Poland has a very stratified society - where you are perceived as belonging on some rung - and start to think of yourself as belonging on that rung - reinforced by other's perceptions? I'm just myself - as are my friends themselves - I certainly don't think in terms of hierarchies - that's a foreign worldview.

while you are for me a clever profiteer from finance capitalism, very very high in this hierarchy. "

How amazingly misinformed you are! Just from me having said I worked in the finance industry? The nature of my work enables me to work for all sorts of industries and sectors - which I have. To clarify things - most of my time has been spent in the health sector and a lot in research. So, how will that new information change your perceptions?

"How can we have anything in common?

I'm sure you could think of hundreds of ways

"For smug and privileged guys like you we even do not share reality. "

I've never been called smug before... so why 'smug' - is it simply because I think Stalin was an arrogant, self-serving, vain sociopath and communism doesn't work? Yet many Russians think that . And why am I "privileged'? Because I've said I've worked in the finance industry?

This is yet another example of a straw man - the concept you have of me does not reflect my actual existence - yet this phantasm you continue to attack. As far as money goes - when I work , I work hard and I get paid OK - not exceptionally well ((not > $1k a day or anything) . I do contract work - so may have periods of extended unemployment. The bottom line is most years my average income is just a bit above average wages. So, I'm still looking for this 'privilege' you know so much about.......

"And this may be quite correct. We are class enemies and, "

Really? How amazing. My first enemy! As I've mentioned - I'm way more apolitical than you and for you to say that based on so little information makes me think you live in a strange world.

"...frankly, I despise the predatory social class you represent with its arrogance, self-righteousness and hypocrisy."

What 'predatory social class' do I represent? My country doesn't really have social classes amongst the Australian-born population - though of course people have all different income levels. Maybe this is a hangover of your eastern European cultural millieu. And the self-righteousness and hypocrisy is represented how? Maybe if I agreed with everything you said, I wouldn't seem self-righteous and hypocritical would I?
