does it really matter?

Reader comment on item: Uncovering Early Islam

It doesn't really matter asking Did prophet Muhamed exist? what matters today is that Islam and Koran, with all my respect, do not match with democracy and respecting human rights. There are more than 100 times that you can see the word" Ghatal" which means "kill" in Koran but nowhere about dialogue and peace.

It is all about violence even when Prophet, himself, told the followers that You can take over of : Koffars"(infidels) property and wives after killing them. Let say he existed and he was from God, where is the place of human rights in Islam. Democracy can tolerate Islam , as you see mosques in Modern countries like Canada, but Islam doesnt tolerate democracy and it doesnt even have stomach for it.
