Herein lies the problem. Muslims are able to twist any historical or current political crises into a justifiable violent response. It is all in the greater good and defense of Islam and Muslim brothers. That is why so many pious Muslims flock to places to do Jihad where they are told Muslims are under attack, whether that is the truth or not, it is perceived as a defensive Jihad because Muslims are always in the right. Therefore Jihad is Always justified. It's just a matter of perception.

Ibn Ismal : "Islam was spread through invitation, the sword was against those who refused to allow Islam from being spread."

And there we have it again, not only and admission that Islam was violently spread by fighting those who resisted and who did not believe, but the presumptuous arrogance that if a people did not want to embrace Islam and its 'peace', they were eligible to be killed by the sword, and that is somehow justified because they are just defending Islam in their way.

Read and understand ladies and gentlemen. This is the crux of the argument and the reason that Muslims are able to claim they are a religion of peace and we infidels are dumbfounded.
