OLD WINE IN NEW BOTTLESReader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What? Submitted by DONVAN SICKLE (United States), Feb 26, 2003 at 13:28 The aims of the islamics are strangely similar to the aims of the Communists.1. Destroy the secular( i.e. capitalist) state thru force and violence 2. Replace with a dictatorship of the clerics (proletariat) 3. Convert non-muslims ( non-communinist) to muslims 4. Create perpetual class (religious) warfare 5. Establish a social order of totalitarianism 6. Promote the "Cult of Personality" mohammad ( marx) The similarities go on. Perhaps it is the case that the tyranny is always below the veneer of the human organizations. I believe it is also the case that the United States is the "..Last best hope of man on earth" Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
