Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What?
in response to reader comment: Islam, Religion of Peace?

May I disagree with Ms. Keith in this regard?

The brutality of ones rulers should not be associated with preaching of ones religion. The practice of everyday life of a person may not reflect the true preaching of ones religion. For example I know many Hindus who willingly eat meat. Although in Hinduism the cow is considered to be the mother (MATTA) and it is forbidden to eat meat of a cow. Similarly as far as I know the alcohol is forbidden in Christianity. But how many actually practice it.

further I would also like to the refer to the dark ages of the mid 11 century when the west was in darkness with reference to human rights and the westners used to come to BAGHDAD for educations. I think it’s a matter of social bitterness and depravity that is determining the social behaviors of the current period Muslims. If you cannot have the basic necessities of the life then no matter you r and African, Asian, Muslim or any one else u will fight for your survival and would consider any thing fair in this fight.

for example if you could consider a society which is ruled by the corrupt tyrants especially south Asia (e.g. Pakistan) where there is still feudalism (which by the way was started by English rulers by giving away hundred of hectors of land to favored persons as a reward for suppressing the struggle for freedom by the common man and these peoples are still the ruling brass of Pakistan). Where these persons have made slaves which only get one Kilogram floor a day for a family of eight and which they are not even permitted to cook. Where such is the standard of living how can u expect harmony, love and respect for those who have initiated it all (i.e. west).

Even today how do u justify the attack of USA on Iraq? Many years after the attack and Mr. Bush cannot even justify this war. Where are the weapons of mass destruction? If one can find his home on GOOGLE EARTH how it is possible that USA cannot find OSAMA BIN LADIN and WMD. WMD and OSAMA BIN LADIN are a hoax created by USA to justify the attack on oil rich countries like Iraq and Iran.

SO MY REQUEST IS THAT WESTNERS SHOULD JUDGE THEMSELVES FIRST BEFORE JUDGING OTHERS.
