Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What?

Submitted by Jon (United States), Nov 21, 2002 at 21:10

My view is that religion should be a 'tool' that people of any faith can use to guide them in times of despair, a way for people to explain the unexplainable. However, all religions as well as any form of policy must be questioned. I believe that many Islamic people are subscribing to a faith that is good, but like all religions could be better. Religion should not create followers, followers should create the religion and always question its true purpose.
