Disappointed

I came across this website while doing some research on Islam. I am a Christian, and I am greatly appalled by some of the anti-Islamist comments that I have read so far. What happened to open-mindedness? Even the Bible carries with it a lot of negative thoughts on women and other issues. It all depends on interpretation. For the people who have made comments negating Islam, why bother? Stick to your religion, or lack thereof and be happy. How beneficial is it to you to insult others'? Does it make your human experience any better? I doubt it. Let's try and live life void of all these insults and criticisms. Every man and woman to his/her own. If Islam is your thing, so be it....if Christianity is yours...so be it as well. In the meantime, I implore all open-minded people, not to rely soley on so-called western interpretations of religious beliefs. There is a wide spectrum of knowledge in the world that is yet to be taken account of.
