Nothing less than the reformation of Islam is neededReader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What? Submitted by George Shapiro (United States), Oct 3, 2002 at 11:22 The Quran contains too much contradiction and doctrine in support of tyranny that makes it fundamentally opposed to democratic governance and practice of tolerant intercommunal relations. However, only Muslims can take up the banner of reformation. In the meantime, it is up to Americans, left and right, to lead the world against the fascist movement sponsored by Militant Islam. Perhaps, in time, Iranians or Indonesians may lead the way to reforming the Muslim faith and its worldly practice.
