Natural phenomenon occurs in other places too.Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What? Submitted by Wahleed Rokai (India), Sep 26, 2007 at 08:15 America has weak points where earthquakes occur. So also Japan, Indonesia, and many other places on Earth. Why not explain your basic point being made and then point to the miseries of Pakistan? Most nations suffer due to human and property loss. However, they recover their status due to economic health. Since everything is related to Allah, so must the calamities when they happen to you. Pakistan and other Islamic conunties are economically backward. Emphasis is never made on peace and communication on economic grounds with developed nations so that they may improve their lot. More importance is given to militarization and terrorism, maintaining dogmas and the result is farcical government which does nothing for you. What else other than misery could you expect. Sad but inevitable. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
