in response to reader comment: IS ISLAM GROWING FAST WITHOUT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IN ISLAMIC COUNTRIES.

Dear sir,

Your assumption 'muslim countries deny rights of religious freedom' is a fallacy because, if you were to look at all the major muslim coutries (e.g. Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt etc.) you'll find contrary to what you hold.

Your views about ethnic cleansing, forceful conversion by muslims is an erroneous one as if you are trying to paint Islam and muslims with the same brush as of Christianity and the Crusaders. You should really read history carefully and seek out facts rather than relying on information which are unreliable.

As for your assumption that muslims are ignorant about other religions is incorrect for most muslims do know the basic tenets of other religions and in many cases muslims are found to be more knowledgable than the adherents of those faiths.

Islam and Muslims are not growing simply because Muslims are producing more children, in fact Muslim countries have a higher death rate because most of the larger Muslim countries are happened to be very poor. and Muslims are also killed in their thousands in war and armed conflicts. Again if you were to look at the statistics you will find people from the western countries such as in North America and Europe are converting to Islam and even moreso after 9/11. Muslims do not actively seek out to convert people like other Religions who have organisations throughout the world especially Muslim countries setup in order to convert its people using whatever materialistic means to lure them to their religion.

Your knowledge of Islam I believe is very poor which is why you think that if muslims are given a choice they will abandon their religion and adopt another. Again only if you were to seek out knowledge, you will not find a faith like that of Islam. unlike other religions Islam is not based on irrational beliefs and nonsensical dogmas for a lay muslim knows that there is only one God and He alone deservses to be worshipped and He neither begetts nor was He begotten.

It is this simple, rational and sensical belief by which Islam wins over the other faiths. Islam saw an upsurge in its early part and yet again another upsurge in its later.
