What we should do

What we need to do is what we should have done a long time ago, turn this mess into an unconditional international effort, adding france along with the Arab League, to help aid Iraq. The US should accept it's limitation and hand the power over to organizations with experience in nation-building (i.e. the UN). In the meantime the US should step down from the global police status and worry about problems in it own country, and vow to never make this mistake again.
